Growing up, my dad was always attending cycling races. We watched the Tour de France on TV every year. While studying abroad in the South of France, I had the opportunity to travel to the famous bicycle race the Tour de France and document the experience of the dedicated spectators that make the race so unique. By exploring the communities that are formed alongside the path of the race we discovered what it means to be a cyclist.
