Growing up in Chicago, Abi was immersed in a diverse range of cultures and perspectives, shaping her understanding of people and their stories. She began her filmmaking journey in high school through 35mm photography classes, where her passion for visual storytelling first took root. Alongside her work in film, Abi continues to prioritize photography, integrating it into her creative portfolio as a key medium for capturing the essence of human emotion and interaction.
